About Us
Wee Beesties is a collection of handmade ceramic creatures sculpted with imagination, humor, and a love for the wonderfully unusual. Each piece is one of a kind, created to feel like it wandered out of a folktale and into your home!
Since I can remember, I’ve seen faces - in tiles, trees, concrete, shadows, and deep in the woods. In my mind’s eye, those faces became creatures, and somehow, I knew the stories they carried.
I believe our world, as we see it, is only one fold in time. Other folds exist alongside ours, brushing against us in strange little ways. Sometimes, if you are lucky - or terribly unlucky - something slips through.
Most Beesties do not arrive here on purpose. They stumble into our world by accident, usually confused, irritated, and deeply unimpressed by modern life. Their behavior is shaped by a mix of personality, mischief, and general annoyance at being stuck in the wrong time.
While I do occasionally feel bad about the unfortunate incidents involving bratty children, exes, pets, and anyone named Josh or Tiffany, I believe it is our duty to help these wayward Beesties find a proper home.
Each one is handmade, one of a kind, and carrying a story of its own. Some are charming. Some are troublesome. Most should probably be supervised.
